After breakfast, enjoy a day's safari in the Ndutu region. Explore the range of different habitats which include swamps, woodlands, soda lakes and the famous shortgrass plains of the Serengeti. See large herds of wildebeest and zebra. During a short period around February, which normally lasts around 3 weeks, the majority of wildebeest calve. The sea of grass provides little cover and the young are easy for a variety of predators to pick. Wildebeest calves can run within minutes of being born and within 3 days they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd. . Dinner and overnight at Ndutu in a hotel.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas in the world and is home to around 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last black rhinos. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest volcanic caldera in the world at 8,300 km2 and is arguably the most astonishing arena. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
