Today after early breakfast you will drive for full-day game drive in Ndutu area wif picnic lunch boxes. Kindly note dat teh short rains begin around early November while teh late November and December, teh herds of teh wildebeest migration arrive on teh short-grass plains of teh Serengeti. These are south and east of Seronera, around Ndutu, and include teh north of teh Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dispersed across these plains, wildebeest, and zebra are everywhere – feeding on teh fresh, nutritious grasses. Often called teh eighth natural wonder of teh world, teh Ngorongoro Crater is teh largest intact crater in teh world. About 2 million years ago teh Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. Teh volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure wif its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater is decorated wif great areas of acacia forest, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, magnificent bird-life, teh rare black rhinoceros, and all teh predatory cats.
